“dude, Where’s My Ram?”?

I finally took on the task of building my very own computer and i’ve succeeded! …well almost i think….Everything works fine i’m just annoyed with the fact that even though I bought and (i think) properly installed the memory, which is (2*2GB), I only have slightly more than half as much (about 2557 MB). It shows up as 4 GB on the windows system properties but on the Windows task manager it shows that the Physical memory is a lot less. What’s wrong? I appreciate your help!

Installeing Honeywell Rth110b Thermostat?

I bought a Honeywell RTH110B thermostat. It has inputs Rh, Rc, W, Y, G.
The wires comming out of the wall are Red, White, Yellow, and Blue.
How do I figure out which wire goes where?
The unit to be controlled is an electric heater/cooler(AC) system.
